Terms of Service

By using SurfMate you confirm your acceptance of, and agree to be bound by, these terms and conditions. SurfMate is a surfing companion application designed to help you check conditions, find spots, and track your sessions.

This Agreement takes effect on the date on which you first use the SurfMate application or access our services. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide in SurfMate. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for any activities under your account.

SurfMate grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes. This license does not include the right to modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app.

Some features of SurfMate may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings.

Refund requests for subscriptions are handled through Apple's App Store or Google Play Store refund process. Due to the nature of digital services, we recommend trying the free features before subscribing.

SurfMate is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Surf condition data is provided for informational purposes and may not always be accurate.

SurfMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

SurfMate is not responsible for any user-generated content, including surf reports, session logs, or other data you input into the application. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to store and process it to provide our services.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of SurfMateat any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

This Agreement is governed by applicable laws. You acknowledge that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and SurfMate as a result of your use of these services. For users in the European Union, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
